Born in Kollam, Kerala in the year 1969 to Yesudasan and Mercy, I did my secondary schooling at Infant Jesus High School, Tangasseri, Kollam. After my pre degree course at Fatima College, Kollam, I joined Kerala Aviation Training Centre, Trivandrum as a Pilot Trainee. I was also active in the Air Wing NCC and obtained my ‘C’ certificate, along with experience in flying gliders.

I then proceeded to do my graduation in Sociology from MG College, Trivandrum following which I joined Govt. Law College, Trivandrum to do my LLB. Thereafter, I got myself enrolled as an advocate and practiced in the courts in Kollam. Based on my legal experience and my qualifications, I got employed in the service of the Govt. of Kerala as a Junior Cooperative Inspector.

My interests are varied and I am an avid Ham Radio licensed operator. I was very active in the National Cadet Corps, Air Wing and have done quite a bit of flying too. I am a life member of the Kerala High Court Bar Association, the Youth Hostel Association of India, Red Cross, Blood Donor’s Forum and World Wildlife Fund. I am also active in Amnesty International, Kerala Pigeon Foundation, YMCA and Consumer Protection Council.
